Endorsement From Dr. Joe Langley

I support the reelection of Judge Carol Bush for County Judge of Ellis County.

A decision to vote for her reelection can be confidently based upon her performance over the past years in that office.  She has a proven track record of conservative and innovative leadership.  Judge Bush has positioned Ellis County to meet the challenges of our county’s explosive growth.  Never careless in her decision making, she has guarded the interests of our safety, security and well-being while maintaining our desires for fiscal conservatism.

Please join me in keeping her in this critical position of leadership.

Endorsement From Charlie Morton

My name is Charlie Morton, and I am a 38-year resident of Ellis County.  I am a former Mayor of Ovilla, a former GOP Chairman, the current President of the Ellis County Rural Rail Board, and a Meals on Wheels volunteer.

I see our County government at work first hand and that is why I am supporting the re-election of Judge Carol Bush.  Judge Carol Bush knows the challenges that Ellis County seniors and residents of this community face, and she listens to our concerns.  I have served proudly as her Campaign Treasurer.  I have gotten to know her over the years and can personally testify as to her strong principles and passionate concern for Ellis County.  The best phrase that I have heard that describes Judge Bush is that she “places principles over politics”.

Judge Bush has served as your County Judge for almost 9 years, effectively representing Ellis County interests at the local, regional and state levels.  Her focus has been on key issues that affect you and your community on a daily basis:  This year, she led the Commissioners Court and lowered the County Tax Rate.  Judge Bush has also dedicated our tax dollars to support law enforcement in their efforts to protect and keep our community safe.

Judge Bush and her family have lived in Ellis County for nearly 30 years. Her son is a graduate of Texas A&M and her daughter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.  Both children grew up in Waxahachie and are proud graduates of Waxahachie High School.

Because of her proven record of conservative leadership, her ability to get things done and her philosophy of placing principles over politics, I will be voting for Judge Carol Bush.  I know that she would appreciate your vote.

Sincerely,

Charlie Morton
